I adore drawing on walls. And windows. And especially the computer...! I'm one of those weird *right*-handed artists--probably why I'm not much into doing abstract-type art. My *handwriting* is better with my left, though! It's fun being ambidextrous.

Random Favourites

I've tried to restrain myself from including every single piece of art on this site that I really, really like--I try to just mark my absolute favorite from each artist, so you can click and see their galleries for yourself. Just be sure you have a rag handy, in case I missed wiping up drool from my last visit there! =]

I've had a young-adult science fiction novel I've been trying to get published for ages now, but haven't had the overwhelming ambition to go all-out to catch an agent to get published.  (Still gotta work to eat, don't'cha know!)  Then I received an e-mail notification from Barnes & Noble about their newest e-book program, called "PubIt!" that lets you self-publish your own e-book.  I looked through the conditions and rules, saw my profit would be a whopping 65% of every sale instead of the expected 15% or so in print publishing, and realized I really have nothing to lose.  So, I now have a published 137,000-word e-book!  YAY!  I've posted the cover art here on deviantART, along with a link to the book's bn.com page search.barnesandnoble.com/Silv…, if anybody wants to see, and maybe hopefully be interested enough to buy...!  =]

A long-time Sci-fi/Fantasy bibliophile who drives a school bus, writes both fanfiction and original work, draws with everything but oil paints *on* pretty much anything that doesn't breathe, and is extremely computer friendly. =]

I also co-run a private cat shelter, working with the Humane Society and a local vet. I adore anime, and think the little manga books are just the berries--and I dearly hope they start making them all into e-manga soon, so I can keep them with me on my Nook!
